Monday Mani - Pet in the Picture

So I haven't done a PAA mani in forever. I always get caught up on Sunday nights trying to get ready for class the next day. But it's currently Spring Break and I knew what I wanted to do for this mani when the theme was announced. I LOVE animals, especially my pets. Each one of our dogs has had a color assigned to them for all their accessories. When we first got our Pit Bull Finny, his color was blue to match his eyes. He was kinda creepy looking. But now his eyes are green and I've changed his color accordingly. I chose Zoya Ivanka (two coats) to coordinate with Phineas. He was not the most cooperative subject...

Samson (our other dog) refused to cooperate, but also didn't like all the attention Phineas was getting. Sam is the blur on the left side pushing my hand away from Finn.

He's adorable. I tried to paint his nails for this, but he wouldn't let me :(

Monday Mani - Jelly Sandwich

Every Monday in Polish-aholics Anonymous there's a challenge. Today was a jelly sandwich! In case you don't know, a jelly sandwich is a sheer polish layered over a glitter so that the glitter peeks through. 

I used one coat of China Glaze 108 Degrees, Icing Party Confetti, OPI Teenage Dream and then 108 Degrees again.

108 Degrees is actually a really bright shimmer, but it's hard to capture on camera. Also, the outdoor photos didn't really capture the holo glitter in Teenage Dream and it showed up best here in my dark living room lol. I snapped a quick pic that sort of shows it. I love jelly sandwiches!
