Tonight I have another polish from Fanservice Nails to show you! I finally saw The Avengers a couple weeks ago. It was amazing. When I was shopping around on Etsy and found one called Tesseract, I had to have it.
Tesseract is a ice blue shimmer base with flakies. Perfect color for a Tesseract. This is two coats.
The VNL you see here wasn't at all visible in real life. I didn't notice it was there until I uploaded the pictures and had already removed the polish :/
I'm completely in love with this polish! I soo gorgeous. The last picture is with flash to help show off some of it's shimmery goodness :)

I received my polish from Fanservice Nails a while ago and swatched them almost immediately, but kept forgetting to show y'all! This is Invitation to Endless Wonder. Like many indie brands, Fanservice polishes are references to nerdy thing. Unfortunately, I didn't know any of the references for this order of polish :( But I want to! They're on my list! This polish's name is taken from Warehouse 13.
Isn't the name just magical?! And look at the bottle shot! Gorgeous flakies in a purple base :) It's kinda like a kaleidoscope. I could just sit and twirl the bottle and watch it all day.
I applied two coats of Endless Wonder over Color Club Wild at Heart. It was what I was wearing when my polishes came in and I couldn't wait to put it on. I then took a bunch of pictures trying to show the color shift and it was just too pretty to edit down to less photos :) I plan to wear this soon alone.
Their polishes sale for $11 or you can buy in sets (3 for $28) to save a little money. I ordered my second set of 3 already! And I paid last night and they've already shipped! I love fast shippers.
Today's Teal Tuesday theme is Ladies' Choice which made me immediately think of this:
I loooove Zac Efron and this version of Hairspray. I was obsessed when it came out. If I'd had more time this holiday weekend, I would've done a mani inspired by the video, like those fabulous curtains in the back and those awesome paper lanterns...I'm gonna have to keep that in mind for a rainy day ;)
I kept it simple and did two coats of Fanservice Nails Did I Fall Asleep?. This polish applied really well. It's a teal shimmer base with iridescent glitter and flakies.
I'd worn this a couple of day, so I did have some tip wear. And chipping on the ringer finger at the cuticle because I was picking at it :/
This polish was absolutely fabulous and I loved it. But my favorite thing? Removal. Usually darker polishes are a nightmare to remove because they stain your hands and nails and are super messy. These are my nails right after removing Did I Fall Asleep? without any special treatment:
I removed it with Zoya Remove+ and felt with absolutely no problems. I only used 1/2 a piece of my felt pieces and I usually used at least a full one (sometimes two) to remove dark colors like this. And I only used one coat of nail hardener as my base coat! Excellent!

Such a rhyme-y title! On Monday I had a whole day off work, so I decided to go to the mall. I hit up my favorite polish shops and got some goodies :) First up is Forever 21. I seriously controlled myself and only allowed myself to buy two bottles. I got a gorgeous metallic teal and a green glitter (which I'm pretty sure is a dupe of L.A. Girl Glitter Addict Purge).
And then Icing! I seriously love Icing polishes. I got 2 shredded glitter polishes and a crelly with iridescent glitter.

And I also picked up a mini set of neons with mirco glitter! They're so pretty and bright! I love them a lot :)
And then to The Gap. I think I can count on one hand how many times I've been to The Gap. But I really really wanted Gold Rush which is a dupe for Chanel Peridot.

Finally, I headed to JC Penney and got OPI My Pointe Exactly and Pirouette My Whistle. And they were only $6 each! They were labelled $8, so I was really excited haha.
Then after hitting up the mall, I stumbled upon Fanservice Nails on Etsy. I HAD to have these and I can't wait to try them out!
Fanservice Nails Blowfish Driving a Sports Car, Invitation to Endless Wonder and Did I Fall Asleep?
Hey guys! Today I decided to use the Forever 21(Love & Beauty) Flakie I got for my birthday. It's a dupe for OPI I Lily Love You! I'd tried it over a light base before, so I decided to try it over a dark base this time.
I started with one coat of Sally Hansen Blue It. This metallic blue is GORGEOUS! I love it a lot. Then I added on two layers of the F21 flakie.
I'm not sure what's up with the tips in this picture. It definitely didn't look like that in real life. And, this was so much prettier in real life. I could not get the camera to capture it. It was so shiny and had more purple in reality. Now I'm off to go do my nails for formal tonight :D
Missy from Gnarly Gnails has started Teal Tuesdays! Since teal is kinda my favorite color right now, I was really excited for this. And I already had teal on my nails!
This was actually going to be background for my tulips, but they were a disaster. But I saved the other hand! This is one coat (ONE COAT!) of Sinful Colors Savage. Then I topped it with Finger Paints Flecked, Asylum and then Twisted. I LOVE these flakies! Am I the only one that thinks of fish food when you see them? Really, really pretty fish food?

This was my second attempt at galaxy nails. I loved my first ones a lot. These...not so much. Everyone says "They're so easy! It's impossible to mess up!". And I thought they were completely right the first time. Then I did them again. And they were so cool! Until I went too far. I kept adding and it ruined them :(
I was doing these at night in a poorly lit room, so this is the best picture I got from before all the sponging. I started out with a Love and Beauty polish that I thought was a purple/blue/black multichrome. When I put it on the nail it looked more green. According to the label this color was "Royal". Then I used a Love and Beauty glittery black, topped off with Finger Paints Motley.
Then I sponged with Hard Candy Beetle and Zoya Paz. And it looked SO COOOOL! Then I added Orly Au Champagne. And I covered up all the awesome below it. I tried to get it back by randomly layering all the other stuff back. I got it somewhat acceptable and then added hex glitter stars. I tried using a dotting tool the first time and didn't really care for the stars that way. I liked this method much better.
Polishes used: Love and Beauty Royal, Black, Finger Paints Motley, Hard Candy Beetle, Zoya Paz, Orly Au Champagne, Love and Beauty Silver.
When I looked through my untried greens, I had 7 or 8 from which to choose. And they were all so pretty that it was a difficult decision. I eventually landed on Ulta Envy. It's a beautiful emerald green shimmer. This is one coat topped off with SV. I added something to the pinky before I remembered to take pics without it.

I swatched all my greens before deciding on one, and I had a green Love & Beauty that was too sheer to use. I decided to layer it over Envy. I loooove it! The label on it says "Lime". It's a green jelly base with either tiny flakies or glass flecks. I can't really decide.

I slanted it to try and show all the colors of the flakie-ish topcoat.
